Itinerary
Drive through the hills of Sikkim, passing rivers and forests to reach Gangtok, the capital city. Overnight stay in hotel.
Visit Rumtek Monastery, Do Drul Chorten, and local markets. Gear check and briefing. Overnight in Gangtok.
A long scenic drive to Uttarey, the trek's base. Small Himalayan village surrounded by forested hills. Overnight stay in homestay/lodge.
Trek begins! Climb through bamboo and pine forests to reach Chiwa Bhanjyang – a beautiful mountain pass. Camp overnight.
Explore the area, short hikes, and enjoy Himalayan views. Important for adapting to altitude. Overnight in camp.
Follow the Singalila Ridge, crossing high ridges and lush meadows. Jaw-dropping views. Overnight in tents.
Steady climb through rhododendron forests and open alpine terrain. Camp overnight.
Reach Lam Pokhari, a sacred glacial lake surrounded by rocky cliffs and prayer flags. Overnight in tent.
Cross remote Himalayan ridges and small yak herder camps. Look out for Himalayan Monal (Danphe). Overnight in tents.
A scenic descent into the Gomathang Valley, dotted with wildflowers and river streams. Camp overnight.
Trek along the river and through dense alpine forest. Quiet and undisturbed Himalayan beauty. Overnight in tents.
Join the Dzongri trail, a more familiar route to Kanchenjunga base. Overnight in tents or trekkers’ hut.
Walk through alpine meadows with panoramic views of Pandim, Kanchenjunga, and Koktang peaks. Overnight stay in tents.
Short trek to Lamuney, base camp for Goechala. Rest & overnight stay in tents.
Start before sunrise, trek to Goechala Viewpoint (4,940m) for majestic views of Mt. Kanchenjunga. Return to Thangsing. Overnight in tents.
Final descent through lush forest and waterfalls back to Yuksom – trek end. Overnight in lodge/homestay.
Drive back through Sikkim’s scenic route. Tour ends with unforgettable Himalayan memories.
