Itinerary
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / NJP Railway Station. Transfer to Darjeeling, the “Queen of Hills.” Check-in at the hotel and rest. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Early morning visit to Tiger Hill for sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. Explore Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, and Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. Visit the local market for last-minute trekking essentials. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Drive to Maneybhanjang (1.5 hrs), the trek’s starting point. Begin trekking through lush forests and scenic landscapes. Arrive at Tonglu, offering the first glimpse of Kanchenjunga. Overnight stay in trekkers' hut/camp.
Trek through Mekhali, Tumling, and Gairibas, crossing the Indo-Nepal border. Reach Kalipokhri, a serene black lake nestled in the mountains. Overnight stay in trekkers' hut/camp.
Ascend to Sandakphu, the highest point of the trek, offering views of Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makalu & Lhotse. Witness a spectacular sunset over the Himalayas. Overnight stay in trekkers' hut/camp.
Trek along the Singalila Ridge, with stunning panoramic views. Arrive at Phalut, the second-highest peak of the trek. Overnight stay in trekkers' hut/camp.
Trek through dense rhododendron forests and beautiful meadows. Descend to Rammam, a peaceful hamlet. Overnight stay in trekkers' hut/camp.
A gentle descent through forests and riverside trails. Reach Srikhola, a tranquil village by the river. Overnight stay in trekkers' hut/camp.
Trek to Rimbik, marking the end of the trek. Drive back to Darjeeling and check into a hotel. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Free day for relaxation or exploring the town. Optional visit to Peace Pagoda, Rock Garden, or local tea estates. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Visit Tinchuley, a hidden Himalayan village known for its tea gardens. Explore Lamahatta, a peaceful eco-park with mesmerizing views. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Scenic drive to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Explore MG Marg & Lal Bazaar in the evening. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
